Missions

We are a mission-minded church. We love to equip you to send you out. The Lord extends to us an invitation to be a part of what He is doing in the world, and we hope our willingness to respond to that invitation is evident in our identity as we seek to follow Him. Check out the areas where you can serve anywhere between across the street to the ends of the earth.

Volunteer

We have other teams you can connect with as a member of First Baptist Church. These teams help us within the walls of the church to be a better church. We encourage members to find a place to serve to further the kingdom of God. It might be through servant leadership, hospitality, greeting, prayer, and/or through the labor of your own hands. Deacons

Our Deacons are here to assist and serve our congregation and the community. They are our servant leaders who promote church unity and “help the ones in need.” We nominate and select qualified men and women who demonstrate servant leadership, humility and commitment to the cause of Christ. Upon becoming a First Baptist Church member, you will be assigned a deacon who is your personal connection to the church family. As your deacon, they are there to pray for you, serve and welcome you into the life and ministry of First Baptist Church. For more information, contact the church office at (512) 392-3377.
