Youth
Sunday Mornings
Our aim is for every student who attends FBC to have a passion to read and understand God’s Word. Every Sunday morning from 9:30-10:30am we break up in to age-graded groups in order to dig deep into the Bible.
Wednesday Night Worship at the Well
Every Wednesday night from 7:00-8:30pm our students gather for crazy games, student-led worship, and small groups. During this hour we challenge students to pursue after God and each other. Our hope is that through worship, preaching, and small groups they leave fully-equipped each week to live out the call God has on their lives.
516 Groups
This is the name of our small group ministry that happens each Wednesday Night. Our students are broken into groups of 10 or less and led by an adult or college student who has been trained and equipped to lead our students.
Youth United Weekend
Each January youth groups from all over San Marcos unite for one weekend. This event is the largest youth event we host. We bring in a band, a speaker, and put on an entire weekend of seeking after God. Each year we see God move in a mighty ways in the lives of our students. Be on the lookout for the signup to start around the first week in December.

Student Retreats & Special Events
We try to do a Fall Retreat every year for students to get away from all that is going on in their lives so they can refocus on God. This usually happens In October or November. Sometimes we go to a Christian Camp, sometimes we go camping, sometimes we stay in homes. Also, throughout the year, we host various special events, like Galentines brunch, paint ball tournaments, outdoor movies with bonfire, escape room/Top Golf nights, mission trips and more.
Baptisms
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith and that it is a free gift of God. Baptism is a way of a person confessing before the church family that they have invited Jesus to be the Lord of their life. If you believe your student is ready to make a profession of faith through baptism, contact our Student Minister, Clint Followell, to make those arrangements. A Minister will speak with your child about the nature and purpose of baptism to be sure they are confidently ready to make this step.
To stay informed of upcoming events and activities we encourage parents to subscribe to our Remind text by texting @theparents to number 81010. For more information, contact Clint Followell at E-mail.
